South Asian Gaelic Games 2026
Eight clubs, 28 teams and more than 300 players came together in Kuala Lumpur for the 2026 South Asian Gaelic Games.
Senior and Intermediate Competition
The 2026 South Asian Gaelic Games brought eight clubs, 28 teams and more than 300 players to Kuala Lumpur for a major weekend of Gaelic Games competition. Hosted by Orang Éire Malaysia, the event included adult competitions alongside a youth tournament. Saigon Gaels won the Men’s Senior Cup, while Thailand claimed the Men’s Senior Plate. Cairde Khmer Cambodia took the Men’s Intermediate Cup and Viet Celts won the Men’s Junior Cup.
Women’s Competition
In the women’s competitions, Saigon Gaels secured the Ladies Senior Cup. Orang Éire won the Ladies Intermediate Cup, Thailand B took the Ladies Junior Cup and Viet Celts B won the Ladies Junior Plate.
A Weekend for the Regional Community
The tournament brought clubs and players from across South Asia together in a celebration of competitive Gaelic Games and regional connection. The youth tournament added another important dimension to the weekend, reflecting the continued development of the game among younger players.
